After Military Coup Chindwin River Gold Mining Report 2023
This is the research published by the Kuki Women’s Human Rights Organization on the ground mining conditions of the Upper Chindwin River and the Uru River after the coup.
The Research Purpose
Following the 2021 military coup, gold mining operations along the Upper Chindwin River and the Uru River are under way as never before. Taking advantage of the situation in the country by entrepreneurs to inform the public of illegal actions against the locals and to build a future federal country. This is aimed at using as relevant role in the consultation on the allocation of resources.
